Whakapapa Lodge

The Whakapapa lodge is located just off the side of the Rockgarden which makes skiing home for lunch or at the end of the day so easy.  The lodge is large, warm and comfortable and sleeps 32 people across six private rooms - each sleeping between 4 and 8 people.  This makes it great for both families and larger groups.

The lodge has a semi-commercial kitchen, is fully catered and run by our live-in Custodian who is responsible for cooking lunch and dinners - the last thing you'll want to do after a full day skiing!

The lodge has a large dining room and separate lounge area with a pool table and comfortable seating.  There is a TV room downstairs for the kids (or All Blacks matches), separate men's and woman's bathroom and shower areas and a sauna for those cold winter nights!

One of the best things about this lodge is that it is situated on the mountain and well above the top Bruce Road carpark.  This means that the views are extraordinary and it is so quiet and peaceful when all the other skiers have left the mountain for the day.

Ohakune

Our house in Ohakune is located right next door to the iconic Powderhorn Chateau - making it a great escape if you want a well earned apres ski beverage with friends or family.  Our Ohakune property sleeps 12 people in three private bedrooms of 4 beds each.

The house has a well appointed kitchen for self catering and a good sized dining room and lounge area.  It also has a great wood burner which makes relaxing after dinner warm and cozy.  There is plenty of offstreet and on property parking and a garage at the rear of the section for ski gear with a workshop for sharpening those edges!

National Park

Our National Park property is conveniently located on Carroll Street, just off State Highway 4 and backs on to The Park hotel and restaurant - making it another great option if you choose not to eat at our self-catered lodge.

Given National Park's proximity to both Whakapapa and Ohakune skifields, this lodge is an excellent option for those members wanting to keep their options open on which side of the mountain to ski.  In addition, this property has proven a life-saving fall back option on those late night trips down from Auckand when cars are turned around from a closed Bruce Road due to snow conditions.

The lodge sleeps 24 people across 7 private bedrooms ranging in size from 2 beds to 6 (including double bunk options).  There are separate men's and women's bathrooms and showers allowing a large degree of privacy.

The common areas include a large TV and lounge area with a separate kitchen and dining room upstairs.  With warm wooden paneling and a closed in fireplace, the lounge area is a warm and comfortable area to enjoy drinks and share skiing tales at the end of a great day on the mountain.

We also have a large carpark outside so can accomodate all members with off street parking.
